FITNESS TRAINING

DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN A SPECIFIC AREA TO BE COACHED?

Nope! Everything is completely remote, so I can coach you from anywhere.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A GYM MEMBERSHIP?

No, you can absolutely workout from home. Whether you are working out at a gym or at home, your program will be 100% customized to you.

WILL I NEED LOTS OF EQUIPMENT AND SPACE TO WORKOUT?

Not necessarily. You do need some space (enough to lay down) so you can move around and not hit anything. I'd recommend having at least a resistance band or a set of dumbbells, but I will program according to what you have available -- even if that means using cans of soup as dumbbells!

WHAT IF I AM NEW TO WORKING OUT?

That's perfectly fine! Hiring a coach when you are new to working out is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation. Although Floreo fitness training is all remote, you will have lots of guidance along the way. I publish all of your fitness programming on the TrainHeroic app, where you will log your workouts. The app will show video demonstrations for each exercise. In some cases, I may ask you to record yourself doing a few exercises so I can help correct your form.

I NEED HELP WITH BOTH FITNESS AND NUTRITION, WHERE DO I START?

Awesome! Start by filling out a client application. We will talk more once I have reviewed your application. In most cases, I will recommend starting with either just nutrition or just fitness programming first. After you've nailed down a solid routine with one, we will add in the other! It's great to be ambitious and want to tackle both at once, but trying to build too many new habits at once can sometimes do more harm than good. I want you to be successful for the longterm, so let's focus on gradual and sustainable changes!

DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON TRAINING SESSIONS?

NUTRITION

I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES / DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, CAN I STILL GET NUTRITION HELP?

Yes!! You've come to the right place. As someone with lots of food allergies myself, I am very happy to help. If you fall into any (or all) of these categories, you can still get nutrition help!

  • Vegan/Vegetarian

DO I HAVE TO BUY SPECIAL FOODS?

Nope! I will never require you to spend a fortune on "special" foods. Yes, I do want you to try to get in a variety of fruits and vegetables, but this doesn't mean you have to buy the most expensive options. Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to make affordable, but nutritious choices at the grocery store.

I DON'T REALLY COOK MUCH, CAN I STILL FOLLOW YOUR PROGRAM?

Sure! Since this is not a "diet program," you will have flexibility in what you eat. The goal is for you to learn how to fuel your body so you can feel your best. I do recommend cooking when possible because it is the only way to know EXACTLY what is going into your food. However, cooking is not a requirement.

WHAT IF I CAN'T GIVE UP SWEETS OR SODA?

I will never make you completely eliminate something you love. Now, if you're drinking 7 sodas per day, we will gradually decrease your soda intake, but we don't have to eliminate soda completely. When I call you for your initial nutrition assessment, I will ask you about your "non-negotiables" a.k.a. the foods you cannot live without. We will find a way to incorporate your non-negotiables, while still finding a balance with other foods so you can feel good!
